Founder & Managing Director
Qualifications: BA (Hons), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Dip PFS
I established Citywide Financial Partners in 2004 to provide a fresh, innovative approach to personal financial management for individuals, business owners and their families.
Where I believe Citywide differs from other firms is our focus on understanding the whole of you and what you want to achieve before looking at how your money is managed and organised.
I see my role with clients as being a trusted friend as well as a trusted adviser.
In 2009, I was asked to join the Financial Conduct Authority’s Smaller Business Practitioner Panel to represent the interests of smaller independent financial advisers. From April 1 2015 I became Chairman for a two year period. I believe this is an important time for advisers and I am keen to ensure that there is a successful and vibrant independent sector, capable of meeting the needs of consumers in the future.
Head of Client Services
Qualifications: Honours degree in Business Management with Sociology, Certificate in Financial Planning, Certificate in Life & Pensions
I joined Citywide Financial Partners in January 2007 after graduating with a 1st class honours degree in Business Management with Sociology. I started as an Administrative Assistant and worked my way through to my current roles, Head of Client Services.
The main part of my role as Head of Client Services is to oversee the entire client service experience. We want to ensure everyone receives a positive client experience. I am also the primary point of contact for Clinton’s clients.
I have love working at Citywide Financial Partners over the last 10 years and seeing the company grow. I most enjoy being part of each client’s individual financial and personal journey and the relationships that I have built up with our clients over the years resulting in a friendly and highly personable service.
I enjoy spending my free time with my young son and partner.
Qualifications: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
I am a certified financial planner and have been providing holistic financial planning advice since 1996. I enjoy working with clients to achieve their financial goals and objectives. I see financial planning as embarking on a journey with each client. This involves a long term relationship based on trust.
I thoroughly enjoy my work environment, being part of a team who are enthusiastic, dynamic and focused on service excellence.
I have been a Rotarian since 2005 and enjoy being involved in community projects, both local and abroad.
Client Services Executive
Qualifications: Certificate in Financial Planning, Certificate in Life & Pensions, R05 (Protection), R02 (investments), R04 (Pensions and Retirement Planning) & R03 (Taxation of Individuals & Trusts exam)
I joined Citywide in August 2010 after working for the Hampshire Constabulary finance department in Winchester. My role as Client Services Executive is to ensure our clients receive an exceptional service and to work closely with the advisers to assist in delivering a personalised financial planning experience.
I most enjoy being able to see and document our clients progression towards their financial goals and objectives.
I have obtained my Certificate in Financial Planning and I am now working towards my Diploma.
I spend most of my spare time playing football for Woking based Westfield Football Club.
Head of Operations
Qualifications: Chartered Management Accountant
I joined Citywide as Operations Manager in September 2015. I work closely with Clinton running the operations side of the business and work daily with our compliance, IT, finance, HR and marketing teams.
I am a Qualified CIMA Accountant with 20 years experience in FMCG and retail businesses including Unilever and Pret a Manger and have held a range of finance roles across financial and management accounts in the UK and overseas. I have also worked with small businesses, as the Finance Director of a number of investee businesses in Unilever’s startup and early stage venture capital fund and through various consultancy roles.
I enjoy working in dynamic businesses with great people, delivering something I think is of value. My role at Citywide is varied and extremely rewarding during this period of growth.
Client Services Administrator
Qualifications: Accountancy Qualification to Levels 2 and 3
I joined Citywide in June 2016 after working as a financial administrator for a leading children’s nursery chain in Godalming. I also have completed an Accountancy Qualification to Levels 2 and 3 and am looking forward to developing my skills in the financial services industry by studying for my Certificate in Financial Planning.
As Client Services Administrator I am responsible for preparing documents for client meetings and providing support to the Client Services Manager.
In my free time I enjoy relaxing watching TV, film and keep up with a wide variety of sport.
Qualifications: Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Planner
I have worked closely with Citywide Financial Partners since January 2006 helping them meet their compliance and regulatory responsibilities.
My career in the financial services profession spans nineteen years, seventeen of which have been in the field of compliance. I am a Certified Financial Planner (CM) and Chartered Financial Planner. I established Compliance & Training Solutions Ltd in February 2005.
Working with Citywide is a joy – the firm take their compliance responsibilities seriously whilst bearing in mind the needs and objectives of their clients. It is also a fun company – it is never a chore.
Trainee Financial Planner
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Economics & Finance
I joined Citywide Financial Partners in September in 2017, having graduated from Swansea University with a 2.1 in BSc Economics & Finance. My role as Graduate Trainee Financial Planner includes studying towards Financial Advising qualifications, supporting the Client Services Managers, as well as developing my knowledge of the Financial Services industry. I enjoy being part of a hard-working team environment both in work and leisure, which I find rewarding. I enjoy watching and participating in all sport, although my main focus is rugby where I play at Dorking Rugby Club.
Office and Accounts Administrator
Qualifications: AAT Advance Diploma in Accounting
I began working for Citywide in April 2016 on a temporary basis, eventually becoming permanent in April 2017. Prior to this, I spent 25 years working for several London-based publishing companies, becoming a Chief Sub Editor/Production Editor and also freelancing at times. However, family commitments and the need for a change of scene led me to begin retraining in accounts in 2015.
I am very much enjoying learning more about the finance side of life and am lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with a dedicated and motivated team at Citywide during an interesting period of growth. Over time, I also hope to further my financial qualifications.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Business Management, Fitzwilliam Institute Diploma in Event Management
I joined Citywide Financial Partners in December 2017 after working as a Hotel Manager for a well-known hospitality company. My role involves supporting Clinton and the rest of the team, alongside assisting with the co-ordination of our client relationships. I am really looking forward to learning more about the Financial Services Industry and developing my skills further.
In my spare time I enjoy playing netball for a local side in Epsom as well as running and spending time with friends and family.
